Certificate validity: three years
First Aid at Work certificates last for three years. Arrange requalification before expiry so you maintain current workplace first-aider cover.
Keep your skills fresh
HSE recommends annual refresher training during the certification period. This skills update is different from the requalification course that renews a certificate.
Our refresher booking policy
You can book our £185£222 incl. VAT refresher if your FAW certificate is in date or within 28 days of its original expiry date on the course start date. Beyond 28 days, book our £249£298.80 incl. VAT full course. This is our booking policy; an expired certificate does not provide current first-aider cover.
Book your London course
Both courses have two London days, 08:00–17:00 each day, including breaks. Approved blended learning, with additional tutor-led learning. Dates begin 10–11 October 2026, then repeat every other weekend.
