How to prepare for First Aid training in London
What to bring, when to arrive and how your provider sends joining details.
Check your joining details
Your approved training provider sends further details before the class starts. London venue details are normally emailed and texted approximately one week before the course. If you book within that week, confirm the arrangements before travelling.
Be ready for both days
Registration starts at 08:00 and the day finishes at 17:00, including breaks. Attend both booked days and follow the provider’s instructions for all required learning. Approved blended learning, with additional tutor-led learning.
Bring the essentials
- Photo ID, such as a driving licence or passport.
- A pen, pencil and notepad.
- Your own lunch: lunch is not provided.
Course materials are handed out on day one. You need a good understanding of spoken and written English; call 020 7993 5030 if you have concerns.
Taking the refresher?
Have your First Aid at Work certificate available for verification. Our refresher policy requires it to be in date or within 28 days of its original expiry on the course start date. An expired certificate does not provide current workplace first-aider cover.
